In de buurt van Heerenveen ligt een voormalig boerenerf met daarop enkele woningen en loodsen. In het kader van de rood voor rood regeling zal \u00e9\u00e9n van de loodsen plaatsmaken voor een nieuwe woning. Bureau Boom verzorgt het schetsontwerp, voorlopig ontwerp en definitief ontwerp. Ook ondersteunen we de opdrachtgever bij communicatie met de gemeente en welstandscommissie. <\/p>\n

Een belangrijk uitgangspunt van de levensloopbestendige woning is de grote woonkamer\/keuken die uitkijkt over het omliggende boerenland. De vorm van de woning volgt uit de voormalige loodsen, dit draagt bij aan een eenvoudige, snelle bouw. We hebben hergebruik van bestaande spanten onderzocht, maar dit bleek niet haalbaar. Gebruikte materialen zijn baksteen, frak\u00e9 hout en grote glasvlakken. Een opvallend element is de entree, die steekt door het dak. Hierdoor ontstaat een lichte, grote hal en overloop. Daarnaast is het daardoor helder dat dit de entree is. Alle glasvlakken worden ingekaderd door houten vlakken, zodat alles gevels in evenwicht met elkaar zijn.<\/p>\n

Ook het terrein rondom de woning wordt opnieuw ingedeeld, zodat het duidelijk is dat dit een hoofdgebouw op het erf betreft. Zo komt er een voetpad, door groen gescheiden van de weg, richting de bestaande garage. Dit zorgt ervoor dat er een afgeschermde tuin ontstaat tussen de erfgrens, de garage, de woning en het nieuwe voetpad. Aan de entreezijde wordt tevens groen aangelegd en worden parkeervakken gerealiseerd. Om de overgang tussen binnen en buiten te verzachten hebben we rondom een deel van de woning een houten dek ontworpen. Zo kan men gemakkelijk door de grote schuifdeuren de tuin instappen. <\/p>\n
